"SPAM" mail is the practice of sending massive amounts of e-mail promotions or advertisements (and scams) to people that have not asked for it. Spam mail is controversial and there are many levels of definitions for it. Many times, spam e-mail lists are created by "harvesting" e-mail addresses from discussion boards and groups, chat rooms, IRC, and web pages.
As a measure against SPAM, TST BOCES has a Spam Firewall in place. This "Firewall" filters all incoming mail messages prior to those messages being delivered to your inbox. While it is doing a great job, it sure does not catch everything. Each user that has a TST BOCES email account also has a Barracuda Spam Firewall account. You can log in to your barracuda account here. From this page you can add email addresses to your white and black lists. A white list is for email addresses that you always want allowed. A blacklist is where you put email addresses that you always want blocked. There are files below that can assist you in managing your account
