Description of Services:
The T-S-T BOCES Transportation Specialist provides New York State Education Department's Mandated Training for school bus drivers, monitors, and attendants in component schools. This training includes pre-service classes, Basic Courses of Instruction, and biannual safety refreshers. Other pupil transportation-related services, such as wheelchair securement training, mirror adjustment training, or temporary Article 19-A testing, are provided as needed. Additionally, TST BOCES contracts with a certified School Bus Driver Instructor (SBDI) for Physical Performance Testing services for participating school districts.
