Arts in Education
Arts-In-Education enriches and supports the existing curriculum of students in grades PreK-12, within the five arts strands outlined in the NYS Learning Standards for the Arts: Dance, Music, Theater, Visual and Media arts. Experiences occur in participating schools or at an off site location. Students, educators, administrators and school communities in participating districts benefit from direct contact with professionals in the arts. Partnering with the arts is an integral part of this service and can be custom designed to fit district curriculum needs. Participants have access to an online Arts in Education catalog.

Environmental Education
Environmental Education enriches and supports the existing curriculum of students in grades PreK-12, with particular emphasis on STEM activities aligned to the NYS Learning Standards in Math, Science, SEL, Health and Physical Education. Experiences occur in participating schools or at an off site location. Students, educators, administrators and participating organizations gain experiences in the areas of environmental appreciation and awareness, sustainability, and other health and environmental matters. Participants have access to an online catalog of providers of this enrichment.

Exploratory Enrichment
Exploratory Enrichment programs enrich and support the educational opportunities for students in grades PreK-12. Programs in this area integrate curriculum based activities into instruction supporting the NYS Learning Standards in Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, SEL, Character Education, and more. Each participating school works to select educational programs that are intended to foster an intensified love of learning and accomplishment to augment the mainstream curriculum.

Extra Curricular Activity Coordination
Through this service TST BOCES, in cooperation with the Enrichment Coordinator and Regional Schools Success, will coordinate opportunities for student teams from our regional schools to participate in annual challenges and competitions.These opportunities will provide students a venue to exercise critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration and promote the practice of good sportsmanship and civic engagement.

Talented & Gifted
Talented and Gifted programs will be coordinated for a wide variety of academic and occupational experiences. This programming will be aimed at meeting the needs of diverse learners. Programs will be offered apart from standard curricula and may occur during or after school and during the months of July and August.
