  • Smith School Teacher Receives Prestigious National Board Certification

    National Board Certification is the most respected professional certification available in education. It was designed to develop, retain, and recognize accomplished teachers and to generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide.  In the state of New York, only about 1% of teachers have completed the NBCT process. Smith School Teacher of the Visually Impaired & Speech Pathologist Trish Peterson is one of them -- and she did it twice.

  • TST BOCES Facilities Department Hosts 1st Electric Vehicle Summit

    TST BOCES hosted the first-ever Electric Vehicle (EV) Summit on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. The summit included a roundtable discussion with guest speakers about a variety of topics related to the launch of EV projects for public schools in the state of New York.

  • Last Call for Annual Food Drive Donations: Contest Ends Friday, December 17

    The National Technical Honor Society’s (NTHS) Annual Holiday Food Drive is in full swing and they are hoping to make this year another one for the books! Students and staff are participating in some friendly competition to see who can collect the most non-perishable and holiday food items by Friday, December 17.

  • The mission of our Tompkins-Seneca-Tioga Board of Cooperative Educational Services is to identify, to propose, and to provide high quality services for children and for all the customers served which are economical and efficient in their operation, and which will complement the educational programs provided by the local school districts and other agencies in our region. Our educational programs include Adult Education, Career and Technical Education, Exceptional Education, the TST P-TECH Academy and the Regional Alternative School.
