  • Smith School Students Honor Mexican Culture with Halloween Sugar Skull Art

    Smith School Students learn about the Mexican tradition of Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, by decorating Sugar Skulls as a way to honor important people in their lives. The skulls will be on display at Village Taqueria and Grill in Dryden starting Friday, October 29. The beginner Spanish class is based on the concept of learning language through culture and experiences, a practice that is taught and led by new World Spanish Language teacher R.J Santander Malabanan.
