Regional School Success Presents Introduction to Equity Learning Walks
Join Natalie McGee, CEO of Progression Partners, Inc., for an introduction to Equity Learning Walks, a practical tool for supporting diverse and inclusive school environments. The Equity Learning Walk Tool provides an examination of school practices to reflect on school improvement processes and self-evaluation of how well, and how systematically, they ensure the environment is culturally inclusive. The tool assesses demonstrated value in the school environment and discovers the celebration of diversity. The Equity Learning Walk provides a framework for focused improvement. Participants will engage in interactive activities to explore the concepts in the school audit tool and have opportunities to engage in courageous conversations around issues that emerge in diverse environments.
Districts are encouraged to bring teams of educators for the most impactful learning. Continued, individualized support will be available for participating districts through Progression Partners following this shared regional event.
The registration fee for employees of TST Region districts (Candor, Dryden, George Jr. Republic, Groton, Ithaca, Lansing, Newfield, Trumansburg, and South Seneca) is $0.
The registration fee for all other participants is $100.
