🔬⚙️ From Plasma to Precision—Our New Visions Engineering students put their skills to the test yesterday at Cornell NanoScale Facility! 🔬⚙️ Students got hands-on with advanced technology, using the Oxford PlasmaLab 80+ machine to precisely etch silicon nitride and the high-powered YES EcoClean Asher machine to remove photoresist with oxygen plasma. 🧑‍🔬 As a science experiment, students selected different thicknesses of silicon nitride to layer on their wafers. 🔥 Turning Up the Heat with Hands-on Learning! 🔥 Yesterday, UA Local 81 — United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry—brought the heat to our campus!
