After weeks of hard work, creativity, and skill, our Auto Body seniors transformed two wrecked Hondas into showroom-ready masterpieces for this year’s Battle of the Cars! ⚙️ 🏁
Each year, our Auto Body seniors are split into two teams and challenged to bring a wrecked car back to life—think major dents, scrapes, missing mirrors, headlights, and more. Once the cars are fully re-finished, they’re displayed on TST's quad, where the campus votes on the best paint job and body work. 🧰 🖌️
This year, it was a neck-and-neck race between Team Red and Team Yellow! 🎃👻 Our TST BOO-CES campus was bursting with Halloween spirit yesterday! From trick-or-treating and dancing at Smith School to CTE Cosmetology’s face-painting magic, everyone joined in on the festivities. RAS staff embodied the classic composition notebook, while CTE’s NTHS hosted a gourd-geous pumpkin decorating contest inviting everyone to cast their votes for their favorite creation!

Meanwhile, Digital Media seniors Talen and Riley teamed up with TST's PR department to design and install vibrant decals for the Administration building—showing off some serious TST pride! Our World of Work Outdoor Rec students teamed up with Snack Shack to craft custom cornhole boards, proudly featuring the Circle of Courage logo. Every class has been diving into new learning and collaborating in creative ways to make this year one for the books!

Two dogs, a goat, and plenty of cuddles! Cornell students couldn’t resist stopping by the Ag Quad to meet Tumbleweed the Goat, Pogue the Black Lab, and a Chocolate Lab while learning about our students’ Super Goat research and agriculture projects! 🌱 🌾
Ag Day is a yearly tradition where Cornell University invites groups, businesses, and agricultural enthusiasts to the Ag Quad for a day of learning and collaboration. 🤝 Trumansburg CSD was even there, offering demonstrations and sampling their homemade maple syrup! 🍁 A few of our shared CTE students showcased their maple syrup production, making the day a perfect blend of agriculture education and hands-on fun. 🍯🎉
Over the past two days, TST Regional School Success was proud to host the NYS Distance Learning Consortium’s quarterly conference, welcoming education administrators and professionals from across the state—including Long Island, Jamestown, the Capital Region, the Adirondacks, and Syracuse! 🌐

On dreary days like today, Mrs. Andersen's class has just the cure to bring warmth and delight to your day! We were invited to their class last Friday, where we gathered around their homemade (and flameless) fire pit to share stories and taste a sweet treat!
Every day, Mrs. Andersen's class comes together to share stories about the previous night, celebrate what’s going well, and discuss ways to uplift each other. Each week, they focus on a specific word, and last week's word was kindness—each student went around the circle and committed to an action of how to show kindness to others on that day.
Then it was time for some marshmallow magic! Using the microwave for safety, they heated up their marshmallows and savored the chocolaty goodness of s'mores with friends.

🐄 🍼Calf Delivery & Career Dreams - how Animal Science Senior Ryan Rose spent her time at the The Great New York State Fair!🍼🐄
Ryan was one of only 9 students statewide selected by the NY Animal Agriculture Coalition, to shadow a Veterinarian at the Dairy Cow Birthing Center at the NYS Fair, after submitting a compelling essay and passing a competitive selection process for NYAAC's Aspiring Veterinarian Program.
During her six hour internship, Ryan assisted Dr. Amber with wellness exams, checked calf positioning, and even assisted Dr. Amber in delivering two calves—one by natural birth and the other through a pull birth. The newborn calves, named Smokeshow (girl) and Wesley (boy), were an unforgettable part of Ryan's time at the Fair. She left the experience feeling both grateful and excited about pursuing a future career as a veterinarian specializing in cows! 👩⚕️🐮

Our P-TECH Seniors hit the mark with their newest project designing and installing apple cannon targets at Moore Family Farm! From sketching to painting to final installation, our students worked hard on every detail to bring the targets to life. They even got to test their hard work by aiming at the new targets themselves after installation this morning! 🎯🍎
You can see the P-TECH targets on display and celebrate fall fun at Moore Family Farm in Groton, NY, open weekends from 10am-5pm. If you're an educator, be sure to swing by this weekend and next for Teacher Appreciation! All school staff with ID get free admission! 🎃🍂
